Excessive sweating is one of those things in life that we would rather not have to deal with. Unfortunately, for millions of people, it's something that they have to deal with every day. One of the most embarrassing things to have happen is standing next to someone and have them basically have to turn away from you because of your sweaty underarm stains or in other areas of your body. It's a situation that has concerned many people. So what can you do about it?

One way is to use antiperspirants. These products will help you by reducing the amount of liquid that comes out of your pores. Their effectiveness will depend on you as well as on which type you get but they will at least give you some relief. For some people though, since they sweat so much, they won't even notice the difference.

Another method you can use is to control what you eat. Certain foods will cause your body to get rid of the toxins that the food produces causing you to sweat in order for your body to get the bad stuff out of your body. You typically want to stay away from foods with preservatives. Also, if you sweat a lot when you heat spicy foods, you will obviously want to stay away from that as well. Although spice can make your food taste better, it they cause you to sweat way too much, it won't be worth the drenched shirt.

Speaking of wet clothes, if you have a problem with sweat stains on your clothes at work, you may want to consider bringing extra clothing with you. That way you can change out of them and not have to be stuck wearing a wet shirt the entire day. This will also help reduce and odor as well.

Since sweating is your body's way of keeping you cool to avoid any type of heat exhaustion, you will want to keep cool as possible and drink plenty of water. By drinking water, you core body temperature will stay down and that will help you stop sweating.

Certain herbal teas have been known to help people reduce their sweat. Whether or not this works, again will depend on your body. If anything, try it out and see for yourself. You can read many reviews online to see which ones work best.

Trying to stop sweating can be frustrating when you run into product after product that doesn't work to well.
